BRIEFLY: McAlister out of morning practice

Baltimore Corner Back Chris McAlister did not take part in the morning practice at the Ravens’ facility in Owings Mills Tuesday morning. Yesterday it was reported that all injured Ravens would play Monday versus the Steelers, but Tight End Daniel Wilcox, who was absent this morning.

BRIEFLY: Injured Ravens practice for Steelers

Quarterback Steve McNair, tight end Todd Heap, defensive end Trevor Pryce, and Chris McAlister all made appearances in the Ravens practice Monday. Tight end Daniel Wilcox was the only injured Raven who did not practice.

Alex Rodriguez’s agent Scott Boras announced during game 4 of the World Series that his client will opt out of his contract leaving the New York Yankees.

The Red Sox took a 3 game lead looking for the sweep in the World Series against the Rockies. Dice-K Matsuzaka pitched 5 1/3 with 5 K’s, 3 Hits, and 2 Earned Runs. He also went 1-3 with 2 RBIs at the plate.
