Baltimore continues to play nice with the Washington Capitals as star Alex Ovechkin is scheduled to throw out the Orioles first pitch on Friday September 16. The Orioles open up a three game series against the Los Angeles Angels over the weekend before heading out to Boston for four games in three days.
Ovechkin comes to Baltimore to promote the Capitals first preseason game of the year, the Baltimore Hockey Classic, which is scheduled for Tuesday September 20 vs Nashville at the 1st Mariner Arena.
According to the Capitals website tickets still remain for the Baltimore Hockey Classic. I’m surprised to see that considering Baltimore’s love for hockey last season. During the Stanley Cup finals Baltimore beat 9 NHL cities in TV ratings and their adaption of the Caps became a local story.
Nobody wants to see the 2nd and 3rd string guys.
Who is this alex guy ?
This is how to get your foot in the door.
SWEET, I’ll be at botht the O’s game on Friday and the Caps game in Bmore!!! Love that man!!! The Caps rock! Hockey is not like football, the first string men play the majority of the game.
