Alex Rodriguez Gives “Manny Machado” A Follow On Twitter

Case of mistaken identity?manny-machado

In a week where rehabbing Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez was already cussed out by his general manager Brian Cashman to the New York media for tweeting about his rehab, another funny, perhaps slightly embarrassing Twitter story has emerged as well.

While injured, A-Rod has taken up a new hobby of creating a Twitter account. According to sportingnews.com, Rodriguez follows some pretty exclusive company; Dan Marino, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, and Tiger Woods among a few others.

There is one other rising star he follows, and that seems to be Orioles third baseman, Manny Machado. We’ve heard and seen the comparisons between A-Rod and Machado in the past, so before you say, “uh oh, this is a distraction Machado doesn’t need“, read further.

Yes, A-Rod follows Manny Machado. Manny Machado, the interior design and urban space specialist.

Maybe A-Rod needs his assistance on how to make his New York apartment look good to sell for when the Yankees boot him out of town?

Yep, that’s Manny Machado alright.

The only time A-Rod makes the paper is off the field crap. He’s washed up and I’m tired of hearing about him.

This literally made me laugh out loud. Though it is possible that his publicist runs his twitter and didn’t realize it wasn’t the right Machado

spy, right you are. Nothing like seeing $200 million sitting on the disabled list because the team got old. It took a while, but the Yankees beat days are finally behind them.
