It has been reported by the Baltimore Sun that the Ravens are very interested in acquiring Anquan Boldin from the Arizona Cardinals. If the Ravens were to complete the trade for the pro bowl receiver, his asking price is reportedly a first and a third round pick. The fact that the Ravens are inquiring about Boldin might suggest their feelings towards this years crop of wide receivers in the NFL draft. Michael Crabtree, Jermey Maclin, Percy Harvin, Darrius Heyward-Bey and Hakeem Nicks could all be off the board by the time the Ravens pick. What do you think about the Ravens acquiring Boldin? Are first and third round picks too much for a big-time receiver like Boldin?

He fits the bill in terms of the type of receiver, but the price may be too steep. Then the Ravens would have to get him under contract.
That’s a good point since his contract is the whole reason why he might get traded in the first place. With only six picks in this years draft it will be interesting to see if the Ravens front office is willing to give away anymore draft selections.
And if they extend Boldin, what does that mean for Terrell Suggs? He’s in line for a long-term contract, probably at or over what James Harrison just got from the Steelers, plus he’s been franchise tagged for two seasons in a row.
