As Maryland makes their trek through the ACC tournament, former CBS college basketball analyst Billy Packer told Dan Steinberg of the Washington Post that Maryland should never be out of the Top 25.

Maryland’s season has without a doubt been a disappointment as their tournament hopes just about shot, but are Packer’s expectations too lofty for Gary Williams and the Terps program?
I totally, 100% agree. It’s an ACC school with a state of the art arena, top notch State education, and a Sears Trophy in the case. No excuses. Gary has got to swallow his pride and get in the living rooms recruiting.
