Hey, “MiB3” didn’t suck! “Prometheus” opens this weekend! There may be life after “The Avengers” after all! Let’s check in on Week 5 of the BSR Fantasy Summer Movie League. Here’s a quick primer on our league if you missed it before. You can go back and hear our draft on the BSR podcast as well, or just nerd out on our spreadsheet.

Look, no matter what he says, “Snow White and the Huntsman” did way better than Sadler was expecting when he drafted it. Also Kristen Stewart has the same wardrobe and haircut/makeup as that guy Taco who sang “Puttin’ on the Ritz.” That’s all there is to say about this movie.

In other news, the grumblings around “Prometheus” are not entirely positive, but it should make for a fine debut for Guthrie. Also, I flipped open the copy of Esquire I got in the mail YESTERDAY to find a full page ad for “G.I. Joe: Retaliation” and laughed like a madman thinking of Zach Wilt. How bad must that have been for them to shelve it so close to premiere day?

In crappy news, “Chernobyl Diaries” overtook (or undertook, I suppose) “What To Expect When You’re Expecting” as the worst film of the summer. Well done, Russia.

Standings: 1-Zach Wilt (89.40), 2-Matt Sadler (74.31), 3-Dave Gilmore (74.14), 4-Matt Lund (24.65), 5-Zach Griffin (20.64), 6-Patrick Guthrie (00.00)

League Activity: None.
