The Washington Capitals have announced that they are calling up recently acquired center Chris Brown. No, not the one who abuses women and makes crappy mediocre music. The one who plays hockey. Chris Brown will be making his Capitals debut tonight as the Capitals travel to Boston to play the Boston Bruins. Chris Brown will be replacing Brooks Laich in the lineup, as he is heading back to DC. To read more about Brown as a player, check out my post on Talk The Red. He has a Twitter account, you can follow him here: @txbrownie.

Braden Holtby will be starting tonight for the Capitals, which is sort of surprising considering the Capitals just acquired Jaroslav Halak. Why trade for a goalie if you’re not going to use him during a back-to-back? Defenseman Cameron Schilling has been called up from Hershey as well. He’s expected to play tonight.

Game starts at 7:00 PM EST.
