Thursday in Chicago a kid ran onto field in middle of the Orioles matchup with the White Sox.  The child was scooped up by left fielder Dayan Viciedo and returned to the parents that likely encouraged the kid.

Before heading to Toronto, several Orioles players made their first ever visit to the museum and got a guided tour of the Orioles exhibit.

Chris Davis talked about the experience and even got to hold a bat that Babe Ruth used in 1927.  ”There’s a lot of great players that played here and it gives you a great appreciate for what it means to be an Oriole,” Davis said in a video on MLB.com.

Baltimore’s Batman streaker became an overnight sensation and the crack staff at WJZ tracked him down to talk about his lifetime ban from Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

“It was my birthday and I just love to make people laugh and get them going,” Mark Harvey (aka Batman) told WJZ. “So I was like what’s better not to do than to go on opening day and do it? So I went with it.”

“I don’t recommend no one doing it,”  he added. “Trust me, they tackle you hard.”

Harvey wasn’t prosecuted, but did have to spend 13 hours in jail.

“He didn’t know what the heck was coming at him,” Craig Laughlin told viewers on the Caps broadcast.  ”The paralyzer paralyzes Tim Thomas.”

Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis showed up in the Stanford basketball team’s locker room before their NIT matchup against UMass to give a pep talk.

It must’ve worked, the Cardinal beat the Minutemen 74-64.
