The Yankees lead in the AL East is down to a single game. New York is 4-6 is their last 10 games and have lost two in a row. They face the Rays tonight and tomorrow and then come to Baltimore for a critical four game series against the Orioles.
Despite all this, Captain Derek Jeter assured MLB.com’s Bryan Hoch that he isn’t worried.
“Who’s panicking? You?” Jeter replied. “Are you panicking? How do you deal with panic?”
Told that he was the one being asked the questions, Jeter continued, “I don’t panic, so I don’t have to deal with it. Everyone deals with it differently. But I’m not one to panic.”
I usually ask a lot of rhetorical questions when I’m worried about something too.
Jeter’s not worried. He’s looking at the run differential, not the standings. Wait until somebody shows him the standings.
Jeter shouldn’t be worried. He has how many rings. He doesn’t need another like say…Adam Jones or Matt Wieters!
Jeter’s a class act , wish we had him here the past ten years,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,better then Cal ever was at short ……………..
