Steve Smith - Baltimore Ravens WR

Steve Smith‘s Ravens career couldn’t have started any better. In his first four games with Baltimore, Smith was targeted 42 times by Joe Flacco, making 25 catches for 429 yards and three touchdowns.

Over his last six, Smith has slowed down quite a bit. Flacco has targeted him 43 times, he’s made 24 catches for 299 yards and just one touchdown.

Former Ravens wide receiver Derrick Mason was a guest of Glenn Clark’s show on PressBox and discussed Smith’s declining performance.

"You should be [concerned about Steve Smith],” Mason said Monday on Glenn Clark Radio. "I’m not saying he’s not going to have some games where he gets back up into the triple digits when you talk about receiving yardage, but for the most part, it’s a long grueling season and in the division that he plays in, it’s a tough division.”
