Today, while I was working watching the O’s- Yank’s game on ESPN, I saw the great Mariano Rivera hit Felix Pie with pitch on his ankle. It didn’t look good. Of course, no one knows anything yet other than it being a “lower right leg contusion.” -Thanks Roch
I have 2 thoughts here:
1) What has the world come to that I am worrying about the O’s season based on Felix Pie?
2) I guess this means more time for Luuuuuuuke to be awesome or suck.
So please, God, let Felix get better, quickly!

Hopefully Reimold is really coming along. He stole a base today, so that's encouraging. I wouldn't be too worried about this injury though, but on the surface it does look like the Orioles just can't seem to catch a break.
Banana Cream Pie out and insert Sweet Lou, NOT Luke in. This opportunity for Lou, provided the O's are smart and put Pie on the DL will make or break Lou. Scott can hit the cover off the ball until July, but is a liability on defense. Let him clean his guns while the other O's play defense.
Not sure why they even hold onto Lou Montanez. Trembles is still holding a grudge against the guy over something that happened back in the minors.
If there's on guy I feel bad for in this organization it's Montanez. The guy has had TERRIBLE luck. Don't get me wrong, I think Reimold is definitely a better LF'er, but Lou had some pop when he came up and he played hard. Things just have never really worked out for the guy.
He's getting to be an older Minor Leaguer now. I think he's 26ish…

pie is fine. he is actually hoping to play opening day in tampa as long as its not tweaked more between now and then.
its not a joke tho, he is a solid hitter lately.
montanez i like. fan appreciation weekend when people get to go with the players onto the field for the anthem i got picked to go with him.it was awesome, the thrill of running across the field at opacy with the 40k crowd around.
Honestly that's good news for the Orioles. Having that depth in left field is a lot bigger than fans give the Orioles credit for. I'm excited to see Pie play this year, he was fun to watch the second half of last year.

they were randomly picking people on eutaw street, and i was dressed crazy enough i guess lol. everyone at os games knows me, so games are awesome. id love to meet up and cheer with any and all os fans!

i will definitely stop by! i used to set in section 4. opening day i picked to be in 336. best view in the ballpark by far, right behind home plate. upper deck is better for view of ceremonies and to see the full game action because theres nothing blocking and no voids. plus we got 2nd row, 1st row has the bar in the way. i believe thats the best view in the ballpark.
