The Baltimore Ravens season ended in Foxboro last year, but this time around their hoping for some redemption against the New England Patriots. “I think we, personally, kind of wanted to play the Patriots again,” Haloti Ngata told the media on Monday.
“If we were to go to the Super Bowl, it would be great to go through Foxboro and win there. So, it’s another matchup that I think that we’re excited about, and hopefully, we can get it done this time.”
A year ago, Baltimore fell 23-20. They were a dropped pass and a missed field goal away from winning the game or at least sending it into overtime.
This year, they return without the goats from last season’s loss. Billy Cundiff, who missed the 32 yard field goal that would have sent the game into overtime, is on the 49ers roster. While Lee Evans, who dropped the game winning touchdown pass, is out of the league altogether.
Payback is definitely on the minds of the Ravens, but it won’t be easy. It never is against Bill Belichick and Tom Brady.
