It’s going to be the question that Ravens fans ponder for the next week, so we may as well discuss it now. In his post game press conference, John Harbaugh was asked about his decision to go for it on 4th and 2 instead of sending Billy Cundiff out for a 48 yard field goal attempt.

Harbaugh responded to the reporter by saying, “Were you down there on the field? Did you see the way those balls were tracking in the field goal pre-game? It was a tough kick. I’m pretty good at that. I’ve been doing it for a long time. I understand what those guys can do and what they can’t do. It would have been a very low percentage kick.”

Jamison Hensley of the Baltimore Sun said that in Harbaugh’s response he “snapped back” to the reporter when answering the question, which seems to be a trend of late. I believe the reporter was asking about decision, not telling the coach he should have kicked.

Cundiff did tell the media after the game that he had trouble in his pre game warm ups making field goals from that distance, so the Ravens took a chance and came up on the short end.

Here’s the million dollar question, kick or go for it?
