Saxon Diamond Center in Bel Air and Aberdeen is offering full refunds on purchases up to $5,000 made from Saturday to the day before the Super Bowl if the Baltimore Ravens shutout the San Francisco 49ers in Super Bowl XLVII.
While it seems like a big bet for the jewelry store, there has never been a shutout in Super Bowl history. The Dallas Cowboys came the closest when they held the Miami Dolphins to just three points in Super Bowl VI.
The Ravens did come pretty close though. Super Bowl XXXV could have easily been a shutout if not for a Ron Dixon 97 yard kick return. Something tells me it will be a little more difficult for the Ravens to hold the 49ers scoreless though.
If you’re going to get some free jewelry, it will probably be because David Akers shanked a few field goals — which is entirely possible.
