The Orioles offense continued to struggle Friday night with runners in scoring position. In game one against the local rival Washington Nationals, a pitcher’s duel led to a 2-2 tie in the bottom of the ninth inning.
With two outs, and two strikes, O’s second baseman Jonathan Schoop delivered his first career walk-off, depositing it into the front row of the left field seats, sealing game one of the MASN Cup for the good guys.
