Orioles centerfielder Adam Jones fell to fifth among outfielders in AL All-Star voting, but on Wednesday night in Baltimore, AJ showed exactly why he should be starting.
In the top of the second, Jones barehanded a ball off the wall and fired in to second to throw out the sliding Xander Bogaerts. Originally, Bogaerts was called safe, but after Buck Showalter challenged it, the call was overturned:
Then in the top of fifth, Jones tracked down Mookie Betts‘ line drive perfectly with this diving catcher in center:
