You can’t be upset that the Ravens aren’t playing one more week in the big dance in Tampa Bay. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, this season has far surpassed what anyone thought it would. 4-12 was my prediction and with a rookie coach and rookie quarterback the Ravens went to their second AFC title game. Not too shabby.
Any fan that tells you they predicted this is a liar. No one saw it.
While it takes time to heal the wounds of what seemed to be a Super Bowl run, we should understand that the Ravens had an outstanding season and have much to look forward to in the future. Joe Flacco will only improve as a quarterback and some of the Ravens key players who were plagued by injuries will be back for another title shot next season.
This isn’t the end Baltimore. And while it’s cheesy and cliché to say it’s only the beginning, it is the truth. I know I’ll be the first one out to McDaniel College for training camp and I hope to see you there.
Thanks for reading BSR’s coverage of the Baltimore Ravens playoff run. We’ll be here all this week to break down the season and ask for your votes of the Ravens MVP, Play-of-the-Year, Game-of-the-Year, and a couple other awards. Stay tuned.
