Orioles top prospect Manny Machado was promoted to Frederick after the South-Atlantic League All-Star game. His debut didn’t disappoint as he homered in his second at bat with the Keys.

It was also announced on Thursday evening that Manny Machado would be representing the Orioles along with Jonathan Schoop in the Futures Game this year. Though they’re teammates from both Delmarva and Frederick, Machado will represent the U.S. while Schoop will play on the World Team as he is from Curacao.
