A few weeks ago I stopped listening to the Scott Garceau and Anita Marks show on 105.7 The Fan.

I typically listen from 10 AM – 3 PM, but when Scott and Anita come on I can’t stand the banter, the awkwardness, and most of all the Brandon Marshall talk.

As I’m sure you know, today the Denver Broncos suspended wide receiver Brandon Marshall for the remainder of the preseason for insubordination.

According to ESPN.com, “Marshall said during an ESPN interview Thursday night that he was not trying to force a trade through insubordination, but that frustration got the best of him during a disruptive display at practice this week.”

Do the Ravens really want a guy who gets pissed off and doesn’t run drills with the team, or smacks passes out of the air? A guy that quits on his team mates?

When Brian Billick was fired by the Steve Bisciotti, the word was that he lost the locker room. That the veterans were running all over him and guys like Chris McAlister had taken over. Then John Harbaugh came in and regained control, he even moved Ray Lewis back to one locker and coined the slogan “Play Like A Raven.”

Ozzie Newsome is an outspoken advocate for second chances. He was rumored to want Michael Vick and publicly went after Terrell Owens. We don’t know if Ozzie is interested in Marshall, but we do know that the Ravens could use a big, number one wide receiver.

I’m all for second chances, but I’m more for playing like a Raven. Marshall doesn’t fit the bill and I hope the Ravens have zero interest.
