Koji Uehara just can’t catch a break can he? The Bird‘s second starter pitched a solid 6 2/3 innings surrendering 3 earned runs, though 3 were unearned.

The first run of the game came when Carl Crawford scored on 2 straight errors, one on a Gregg Zaun throwing error during a stolen base and the other from an Adam Jones throwing error. Two errors. 1-0 Rays.

Baltimore took the lead when Brian Roberts hit his second homerun in two nights, a 2 run shot to right that scored Robert Andino. 2-1 O’s.

Then in the 5th, Gregg Zaun got his bat going with a solo homer to right. It was a long shot that nearly rapped around the foul pole. 3-1 O’s.

That’s when things went down hill. After striking out 8, Uehara picked off Jason Bartlett at second base. But, then he a single and an RBI double to Navarro. 4-3 Ray’s.

Jamie Walker came in and hit Carl Crawford. Was it intentional? I’m not touching that one. Then Bob McCrory made his 2009 debut and gave up a two run single to Evan Longoria.
