Baseball is right around the corner. I’m so amped up that I can hardly contain myself. Our beloved Baltimore Orioles open the season in Tampa Bay, but Camden Yards is prepping for the home opener exactly one week from today.

This morning, the O’s hung up a banner on the Warehouse welcoming back the 2014 American League Eastern Division Champions — but it turns out the picture they used was from a game in 2012.

June 9, 2012 to be exact. Adam Jones ended an 0-for-18 slump and eventually won the game with walkoff two-run homer in the bottom of the 9th. I was there and it was awesome.

To be fair, this is a fantastic picture from an amazing season and all of the Orioles pictured are still on the 2015 roster. Had it not been for the crazy memory of one of my fellow BSR contributors, I never would’ve known that this picture wasn’t from last season.
