It seems like forever ago that the Orioles got a break.

Today they finally get to enjoy a day away from the baseball diamond.  The O’s last scheduled off day was May 3.  They received a freebie, if you consider it that, on May 9 when their game against the Texas Rangers was rained out, but they had to make it up with a doubleheader on May 10.

For those who are counting at home, that’s 20 straight games (excluded the rainout) without a break.  The O’s went 12-8 against Boston, Texas, Tampa Bay, New York, Kansas City and Boston again in that order.

Baltimore wraps up the month with three games series against Kansas City at home and in Toronto.  The O’s are 14-7 this month and went 19-9 in April.
