In Baltimore, the purple Kool Aid seems to not only be affecting the logic of Ravens fans, but also their radio analysts. Qadry Ismail was so outraged by the offensive pass interference penalty called on Steve Smith in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s 27-24 loss to Cincinnati, that he’s calling for line judge Dave Meslow to be fired by the NFL.
THAT’S CALLED FOOTBALL!!! WHAT THE F* THAT’S HORRIBLE CALL!!!!!!

JUST DO NOT EVEN THINK OF PULLING THE FLAG OUTTA YOUR POCKET!!!!

The Field Judge: Dave Meslow should be sanctioned and not allowed to ref in the NFL again!

Field Judge DAVE “I wanna be a part of the game” MESLOW… #SomeonePayHim What was he thinking!?!?!?!?!?

Did George Iloka flop? Absolutely, but that’s not what led to the Ravens losing this game.
Going for it on 4th and 1 on the Bengals one yard line? That may have cost the Ravens the game.
Giving up a 53 yard pass to Mohamed Sanu late in the fourth quarter? That also may have cost the Ravens the game.
But an offensive pass interference call? Not so much.
I can excuse the new wave of Ravens “Fan Boys”, who think a skinny post is a new way to put stuff on Facebook, but come on Qadry. The guy used two hands and basically pulled the defender to the ground.
Here’s a fact…the 2014 Ravens wins are against teams with a combined 15-22 record and I would venture to say by years end, only one would be against a team with a winning record as Cleveland is Cleveland. If you’re going to be a good team, you gotta beat good teams. Wins against Atlanta, Tampa, and Carolina boast your record, but aint gonna cut in in January.
