Brendon Ayanbadejo Calls Patriots Offense “A Gimmick”, “Bitchassness”

Ravens linebacker Brendon Ayanbadejo trolls Patriots fans

Update: Ayanbadejo apologized for his comments saying they “reflected poorly upon myself, my teammates and the organization.”

Brendon Ayanbadejo was trolling Patriots fans on Sunday night during New England’s 41-28 victory over the Houston Texans. The Baltimore Ravens special teams ace went on a Twitter rant about the Pats offense calling it “a gimmick” and later saying it is “bitchassness.”

I’m not sure what triggered this outburst, but I sort of wish that Ayanbadejo wouldn’t create any bulletin board material for the Patriots. The Ravens need to continue that us against the world mentality, not piss off the opponent in a Twitter war.

Besides, Ayanbadejo didn’t exactly light the world on fire in Denver. He’s not listed in the box score at all and the only play I remember seeing him in was when he missed a tackle on Trindon Holliday during his 90 yard punt return in the first quarter.
I’m hoping Ayanbadejo will turn up some Call Me Maybe and keep the smack talk on the field. No need to fire up the favorites anymore than they already are.

After looking really OLD and SLOW Saturday, I-am-a-banjo should look to divert the attention away from himself.
