Ravens center Matt Birk told Aaron Wilson that he intends to play at least one more season. Birk informed the franchise that he has decided to return assuming he recovers from his injuries.
Birk. “That’s assuming everything heals up the way it’s supposed to. My desire is definitely there.”

Having the veteran center return to Baltimore is great news for the Ravens, assuming there’s football to be played in 2011.
Not sure if this is good or bad. I know Birk battled injuries last year, but I am not sure how much he has left when healthy. I guess it give the Ravens a year to groom the next center.
