The Baltimore Ravens held an open practice at M&T Bank Stadium today. Fans suffering from Westminster withdraw flooded to Baltimore to watch what will likely be the Ravens only open practice.
24,078 is the official attendance today at M&T Bank Stadium. Thanks #Ravens fans!
The Ravens welcomed 24,078 fans to M&T Bank Stadium this morning. To give you some perspective, last night’s Orioles game drew just 18,770 (some of which were there for BSR’s 2nd annual night at the yard.)
Football is, and always was, king of Baltimore.
We talking about Practice…Not a Game…Not a Game…We talking about Practice…Practice…That said, I’m sure there was more enthusiasm in the building for the Practice than what Ol’ Bruz witnessed Friday night…Which brings up a point…Why don’t more O’s fans come to the games wearing Mustard, Ketchup, or Relish tee shirts? Or Crab Shuffle tees? Or “I was on Kiss Cam” tank tops? I mean, I see a lot of Orioles Orange in the crowd, but those Orange-wearing “Fans” sure do seem more interested in the Diamond Vision Screen than what actually happens on the Diamond, itself.
I found myself more interested in talking to Gary than watching Norfolk Tides play the Blue Jays.
Me? I was admittedly a little off after having dropped a BP Homer that landed right in the palm of my glove (albeit while fending off some interference from another bleacher creature…Still, the damn ball was in my glove before it popped out…Embarrassing!)…
I’m with ya, Ol Bruz.
The Diamond Vision is more interesting then the Diamond… Hell, watching paint dry is more interesting than watching the Orioles the past 13 years!
Until the product on the field changes for the better, the money in my pocket stays there…
I’d rather give a wino a couple bucks then giving it to the Orioles. At least I know the wino will put the money to good use and get a bottle of Boones Farm Strawberry instead of spending it on a overage, injured player….
But 28244288482888244828…The folks that were there wearing their Orange were actually there…Don’t really care if they snuck in or got tickets by eating a sub somewhere or by getting their oil changed…If you are gonna actually go to a game on a Friday night, why not have a little fun…Maybe even make some noise in anticipation of something happening on the field? Many fans aren’t going…I get that…Hell, I don’t go anymore…But at least try to enjoy yourself when you are there…
