Reports indicated on Wednesday that the Baltimore Ravens opted to pass on free agent wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery. As reported on BSR, Cotchery met with general manager Ozzie Newsome and coach John Harbaugh.
League source confirms that Ravens are passing on WR Jerricho Cotchery, who took and passed a physical this week. Also visited Steelers.
Aaron Wilson of the Carroll County Times reports that Cothcery passed his physical in Baltimore after failing his exit physical with Jets after his offseason back surgery.
Cotchery visited the Steelers facility on Sunday and also left without a contract.
The news shouldn’t come as a surprise, as it appeared that the Cotchery had more interest in the Ravens than the Ravens did in him.
