First and foremost, congratulations to the Baltimore Ravens for winning the AFC North in back-to-back seasons. This is the first time in franchise history that feat has been accomplished.
I tip my AFC North champions hat to the Ravens.
Currently, John Harbaugh’s team is the fourth seed in the AFC playoffs and cannot get a first round bye. According to Michael David Smith of ProFootballTalk.com, the Ravens remain the number four seed “unless they beat the Bengals and the Patriots lose to the Dolphins”.
Should that happen, the Ravens would be the number three seed and New England would fall to number four.
Though it is technically possible, it’s highly unlikely that the Ravens would face the Bengals in week 17 and then in the first round of the postseason. The Colts will most likely be traveling to Baltimore (I know that still sounds weird for some fans) to face the Ravens in the Wild Card round.
