Analysis: Prior to this year, Bulger played all nine years in St. Louis and many of those as the starting quarterback. When he closed his career as a Ram, he ranked 1st in completions (1,969), second in passing yards (22,814), completion percentage (62.1) and passer rating (84.4), and third in TD passes (122). Bulger has a very strong arm but he is not the most fleet of foot which cost him dearly as the Rams offensive line the last few years has not been what you would call good. He ended up spending a lot of time on his back due to sacks and hurries and also in the training room due to injuries.

2010 Outlook: The Ravens signed Bulger during the offseason to be the backup quarterback for Joe Flacco. The Ravens could do a lot worse for a backup quarterback considering Bulger is a two-time Pro Bowler and as mentioned above, he is very high on the passing charts for the Rams history. Bulger should definitely be able to continue to help and mentor Flacco as he can provide that veteran voice and someone who has accomplished something in the league. Heaven forbid Flacco gets hurt but if he did I feel Bulger would be a quality quarterback in relief or starting a football game for the team.
