I’ll never doubt the offseason preparations of future Hall of Famer Ray Lewis, but boy does he look slim. The picture to the right was snapped by the folks of Ravens247.com and shared on their Facebook page.
Lewis reportedly showed up to Baltimore Ravens camp under his listed playing weight of 240 pounds after training hard this offseason to become a more mobile linebacker. “You don’t have the offenses running the ball 25, 30, 40-plus times,” Lewis said back in July. “Passing is just happening more.”
The 38-year-old vet reportedly used cycling to slim down and told reporters that he has never weighed less since his career began in Baltimore in 1996.
In 12 games last season, Lewis recorded 77 tackles and 2 sacks. He also recorded 12 tackles and 2 sacks in two postseason games against the Texans and Patriots.
Not to sound like some trashy magazine you see at checkout of your local grocery store, but does Ray Lewis look too slim?
WOW , he looks almost as good as I do…
He looks slim and his head looks HUGE!!!
Ed Norris probably talked him into the Medifast diet and he lost all that weight in June. Does this mean he gained a some speed too? Isn’t this a contract year for him?
I hope he comes out like a beast cause he’s going to have to play like three positions with JJ gone and Suggs out.
