On Monday future hall of fame wide receiver Randy Moss retired from the NFL after 13 seasons. The free agent was being sought after by a number of teams for 2011 and rumor has it that the Baltimore Ravens were among them.
According to Incarcerated Bob of RotoInfo.com, Moss was in talks with the Indianapolis Colts, Baltimore Ravens and Philadelphia Eagles before he announced his retirement.
In case you’re doubting Incarcerated Bob (and I did until about 48 hours ago), you should know that whoever this magic man is, he has successfully predicted a number of the NFL’s biggest offseason acquisitions hours before the news gets reported by the media.
Does the Ravens interest in Randy Moss mean that they are continuing to look for help in the receiving corps? How do you think Moss would have fit in Baltimore?
How would Randy Moss fit in Baltimore?
Like a Bull in a china store…
Like spandex on a fat lady (yuk)…
about as useful as a trap door on a canoe…
about as handy as a back pocket on a shirt…
My point being that Randy Moss has displayed poor work ethic the past two years to the point even the Raiders & Titans didn’t want him.
Not a Raven type of guy.
I would have given him one day to be in Harbaugh’s doghouse…………..
I am a huge Randy Moss fan. He was elite when he wanted to be and will go down as one of the top 5 receivers of all time. He could have been even better though. I don’t think we have heard the last from Moss and think he may be back even in the black and purple if an injury or two to a receiver crops up.
Madpup, You obviously missed Mythbusters, bulls are fine in China shops!
More blowing smoke. Why sign Moss when Cameron could not devlop a game plan to incorporate Stallworth?
Flacco is still just your average Joe…
