Steve Smith Is Using His Panthers Money For A Bye Week Vacation

Stop me if you’ve heard this before — things didn’t end well between Steve Smith and the Carolina Panthers.

Even after the Ravens crushed former club 38-10 while Smith ran around them like they were “school yard kids,” Smith still isn’t done taking shots at the Panthers. When asked by Showtime’s Jim Rome for a response to allegations that he was distraction in Carolina, Sr. responded:

“A $5 million dollar cashed check. When I got pushed out the door, or shoved out the door, they owed me $5 million dollars and that's what I received," Smith said. "And I'm planning on taking one of those vacations from that money this weekend on our bye week.”
