Trivia. What do Peter Angelos and the Winklevoss twins have in common? They both have lawsuits against Mark Zuckerberg and Facebook.
Angelos, the Orioles owner and infamous lawyer, and fellow Baltimore lawyer William Murphy have filed a class action lawsuit in a California federal court against Facebook according to Gary Haber of the Baltimore Business Journal.
The two are “alleging that the social media giant unlawfully tracked the Internet activities of the website’s users,” according to Haber.
Angelos and Murphy allege that the book face has tracked its millions of users’ online activity after they have logged out from the website.
As Haber points out, Facebook recently filed to go public and is expected to raise $5 billion (Cue the Dr. Evil music). Surely that has nothing to do with this lawsuit.
They both come under the category of sludge…………
Angeloes and Billy Murphy, nows there’s a pair. All we are missing is Newt Gingrich, Jesse Jackson, Moe and Larry.
Tough to know who to root for, zuckerberger or angelos. If I thought uncle peter would actually spend some of the money he’d make profiting from the misfortunate of others, i’d pull for him, but…
