Todd HeapThat lovable tight end Todd Heap  is at it again. The former Raven congratulated his former team in a Facebook status posted on Wednesday.

Congratulations to Joe Flacco, Ray Lewis and the rest of the Ravens squad for bringing the Lombardi Trophy back to Baltimore! Go Ravens!

Drafted in the first round of the 2001 draft — just two months after the Ravens won Super Bowl XXXV — Heap spent the 2011-2012 season with the Arizona Cardinals after being released by Baltimore after the NFL lockout. Heap was injured in week two of the 2012 season and after being sidelined for 11 consecutive weeks, the Cards cut their losses and released him.

If Cam Cameron gets a ring, can we get Todd Heap one too?

  1. Class all the way… Very classy move on Heaps part… The guy will always be a Raven… Too bad Kyle Boller got him injured jumping in the middle of the field for his passes… Heap was fearless on those routes…

  2. They should give Heap an honorary ring.
