Former Colt Defensive Back Milt Davis dies at 79

The Baltimore Sun is reporting that former Baltimore Colt defensive back Milt Davis has died today at the age of 79 from cancer.
Davis helped the Colts win two championships in the 1950s and led the NFL in interceptions in 1957 and 1959.

The Baltimore Ravens reached agreement with Chicago Bears Pro Bowl special teams player Brendon Ayanbadejo today. Ayenbadejo is expected to be a primary backup inside linebacker for the Ravens and will sign a four-year contract next week.

Ravens’ linebacker Terrell Suggs has filed a grievance against his team the Baltimore Ravens saying that he should receive the franchise tag as a defensive end rather than a linebacker.
The Ravens franchised Suggs on Febraury 19, paying him $8.065 million yearly, but Suggs wants the one-year tag of a defensive end which is $8.879 million.

The Baltimore Ravens cut running back Mike Anderson earlier today, adding $1.3 million dollars in salary-cap room for the 2008 season.
Anderson had one year remaning on his contract. In two seasons he rushed for 245 yards and one touchdown.
