You’d think that after a good night’s sleep that the emotions of last night’s 23-20 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers would have subsided. You’d be wrong.

Prime Time let down…

I shouldn’t be disappointed. I should look on the bright side. I should’ve expected this. But I really wanted a Monday Night win and some change and I didn’t get either.

Its everyone’s favorite week of pre-season football. You’ve gotta love it. The Ravens went into the ever exciting week four with three candidates for the starter job. Kyle Boller, Troy Smith, and Joe Flacco. With Boller hurt and Smith sick, Ravens fans get another look at the rookie out of Delaware.

BRIEFLY: Ravens pick up Pro Bowler Ayanbadejo

The Baltimore Ravens reached agreement with Chicago Bears Pro Bowl special teams player Brendon Ayanbadejo today. Ayenbadejo is expected to be a primary backup inside linebacker for the Ravens and will sign a four-year contract next week.

BRIEFLY: Suggs files grievance

Ravens’ linebacker Terrell Suggs has filed a grievance against his team the Baltimore Ravens saying that he should receive the franchise tag as a defensive end rather than a linebacker.
The Ravens franchised Suggs on Febraury 19, paying him $8.065 million yearly, but Suggs wants the one-year tag of a defensive end which is $8.879 million.

BRIEFLY: Ravens release Mike Anderson

The Baltimore Ravens cut running back Mike Anderson earlier today, adding $1.3 million dollars in salary-cap room for the 2008 season.
Anderson had one year remaning on his contract. In two seasons he rushed for 245 yards and one touchdown.

BRIEFLY: Suggs says he would like to play in Arizona

Ravens two time pro bowl linebacker Terrell Suggs told a Phoenix reporter that he would be inclined to play for the Arizona Cardinals. Suggs is scheduled to become an unrestricted free agent in weeks to come, he grew up in Arizona and attended Arizona State University

Former Steelers head coach Bill Cowher said he is enjoying family time and working with CBS. Cowher said that the Ravens have not contacted him and that he is not interested in coaching in 2008.
