Scott Van Pelt Has A Message For Towson University President Loeschke

Congratulations to Towson University’s baseball team on their CAA championship. Not even Athletic Director Mike Waddell or President Maravene Loechke could bring these guys down.

Just months after the University cowardly attempted to cancel the program, the Tigers defeated William & Mary 5-2 for their first ever Colonial Athletic Association Championship. ESPN’s Scott Van Pelt had the best reaction I’ve seen to this incredible story.

Loschke met with the team back in March to break the bad news and reportedly brought along a “strong police presence” to the meeting. Now Waddell has one foot out the door for Arkansas as the baseball team he attempted to shutdown is headed to the NCAA Tournament.

What an amazing story. Go Tigers.
