Orioles future ace Dylan Bundy was cruising last night against the Wilmington Blue Rocks. Before this start was shortened by rain, Bundy threw 2 2/3 innings of hitless ball, he fanned three and walked one.
MASNSports.com’s Steve Melewski reports that Bundy’s fastball was clocked in the 95-96 MPH range and as the video shows below, his curve ball was out of this world.
Melewski expects Bundy to be promoted to Double-A Bowie before the season’s end.

Dont believe we’ve seen a bender like that since Gregg Olson was in his prime.
Looks like a right handed Koufax,,,,,,,,,,though I doubt if many of you guys ever saw him , he was the best pitcher I have ever seen and the Bundy kid has stuff just like it , well maybe close to it………………time will tell…………
Wow! Sounds like the O’s have continued their long Drafting history of Phenom Pitchers with this Budy fella! Remember when we got #1 Amateur Player in the World at the time Ben McDonald (and his 78 Career Wins, of which 58 actually came for the O’s)? Maybe this guy will be like Adam Loewen (Drafted $ overall) and win 8 Games in three years? Shoot, how amazing would it be if Bundy turned out to be as good as #4 Pick Brian Matusz and win 21 GAMES (albeit in 3 anddda 1/2 seasons)? Can’t wait…
Hey guys, I shot this video. You can watch his whole outing at http://thunderbaseball.wordpress.com
If you could also give credit in the original post, I’d appreciate it. Bundy’s postgame comments are available on that blog as well.
