yep. last night Maryland and Carolina fans were united in a common goal, just as tonight Maryland and Duke fans will be united in cheering against the Heels.
Zach, you’ve shown us what a jerk you are by reveling in America’s Greatest Basketball Program’s pain this am. Sorry if you haven’t followed the progress of the winning-est program of our times, done the right way (see UConnvicts for the wrong way, thug Big Least schools for more examples) by the top coach of Modern Times) with STUDENT-athletes who become leaders in their fields after college. Glad to educate you more when i have more time.
Gregory Pokrywka MD , Duke 1979
While I hear that the medicine department is one of the finest in the land, I’m guessing reading comprehension wasn’t real big at Duke. Sadler wrote the article, not Zach.
@Gregory Pokrywka MD, FACP –
Why don’t you educate us more about the jobs given to Chris Duhon’s mom and Carlos Boozer’s dad by Duke boosters in Durham. Or the drug dealer that gave Corey Maggette money in high school. Funny how none of the games he participated in were expunged from Duke’s record, yet countless other schools like Michigan and Memphis had to forfeit games that involved ineligible players.
And how about those bright student athletes like Sean Dockery and William Avery, and that wholesome bunch that was the Duke lacrosse team. Good to know that they are now the leaders of our country.
Duke may hold itself out there as some virtuous beacon that all other programs pale in comparison to, but when you look at them honestly they are no better than the rest when it comes to institutional ethics and moral fiber.
@Mark – The difference in athleticism (especially in the front court) and quickness was impressive in AZ favor. Like Kenny Smith said at the half Williams was a man among boys out there.
Gregory Pokrywka MD, FACP- Really? A member of Duke’s prestigious Medicine department is calling someone a “Jerk” and speaking ill of another College’s students?
Just sit down you drunken hobbit!
This is what prospective Duke parents can expect from their hard earned money? A “Doc” calling people “Jerks” and “Convicts”?
You said, “Glad to educate you more when i have more time”. You educate us when you have time? Hopefully in that time your going back to school to learn proper grammar and not sitting at the “Nudie Bar” dangling dollar bills at the skanks.
BTW, if your the type of Professor that Duke has teaching, I’d rather study at the “Jack Kevorkian School of Lethal Medicine”…
Isn’t that a North Carolina blog?

I’m never united with Duke fans.

Anyone wanna talk about Williams and Arizona?
I mean, that kid dropped 25 in the first half including a huge 3 at the buzzer to keep his team in it.
Then the team went on a run that last basically the entire 2nd half. It was a thing of beauty.
