Adam Jones called for Orioles fans to pack Camden Yards and pack it they did.
46,298 filled Oriole Park to capacity as Baltimore fans watched the O’s rally with three homers in the eighth inning to defeat the New York Yankees 10-6 and tie the Bombers for first in the AL East.
“Please don’t blame it on the Grand Prix,” Jones tweeted last week about the Orioles poor attendance. “Cause if the Ravens were playin it would def be a sell out.”
But Thursday night was different. “The loudest I’ve ever heard Camden Yards,” Jones tweeted. “I did get them goosebumps tonight.”
So did I.
…Me too. Glad I could be a part of it with you.
I gotta admit some real nice things happened last night. Had my whole family with me to enjoy perhaps one of the top 3 O’s games I have ever been to.too late to find decent parking. Found free parkijng adjacent to The Bank; got there too late to see the Ripken ceremony…Life is great. F the Yankees.
