Talk about a retirement party. Ray Lewis capped off his Hall of Fame career with another Super Bowl ring. Lewis recorded seven tackles, four solo in the Ravens victory over the 49ers in New Orleans.
Orioles centerfielder Adam Jones, who traveled with the Ravens throughout the postseason, tweeted to O’s fans that he’s trying his “hardest to get Ray Lewis to throw out the first pitch” on Orioles opening day. “Couldn’t have a better person for that day,” he added.
I can’t argue with that.
The Orioles open in Tampa Bay on April 2. Their home opener is Friday April 5 against the Minnesota Twins at 3:05 PM. See you there, Ray?
