After narrowing defeating the 2014 AL Cy Young winner, Cory Kluber of the Cleveland Indians, in the “regional final” (51%-49%), AJ moves to the Final Four taking on New York Mets third basemen David Wright.
Fans who want to support AJ going into the next round can vote two ways: on Twitter with the hashtag #adamjones and #faceofmlb, or by posting the same in the comments on MLB Network’s Facebook page.
San Francisco Giants catcher Buster Posey is opposing his Bay Area AL foe, the Oakland Athletics’ Sean Doolittle (who is also injured and has plenty of time to vote now) in the other semifinal.
Jones has previously beaten David Ortiz from the Boston Red Sox and Giancarlo Stanton from the Miami Marlins.
The final winner will be determined next Thursday.
