After a tough Orioles loss, I always take solace in the Adam Jones postgame tweet that reassures me that everything is alright. “Some missed opportunities but [we’re] good,” Jones tweeted after the O’s 7-2 game one loss the Yankees on Sunday night. “No one said this was gonna be easy.”
Some missed opportunities but were good. We kept fighting as usual. No one said this was gonna be easy. I live for this #StayHungry

He’s right about that. Baltimore found out first handed just how good a healthy CC Sabathia can be. He entered the game with a 6.38 ERA against the Orioles on the season. He left after 8 2/3 innings of dominance in game one of the ALDS.
The Orioles are in a 0-1 hole to the Yankees, but I’m not worried. Adam Jones told me not to be and I’ve trusted him all season.
Where are all the money ball players , why they all play for the Yankees…
You mean like $27 million A-Rod?!?
Looks like those big contracts to Jones and Markakis and Weiters (if he got one) were pre-mature,,,,,,,,,,,shouldn’t ten million a year go to players who do not choke……………….
