Vikings quarterback Matt Cassel completed 44 percent of his passes (17 of 38) and totaled 265 yards in the air in Sunday’s loss to the Ravens. According to running back Adrian Peterson, Ravens fans were far more accurate with their snow/ice ball throwing than Cassel was with the pig skin.
Peterson took to Twitter after his team’s last second loss to whine about the officiating and Ravens fan base, claiming that Baltimore fans were acting like “lil kids” during the fourth quarter. Peterson tweeted that fans threw ice balls from the upper deck that hit him in the face.
Wow talking about bad officiating & the worst fan base I've ever experience! They threw snow balls the entire 4q like lil kids. Smh

Not funny or fun! That's all I'm saying,it wasn't cool. Like it or not that's how I feel about it!

From the top deck too!

If that’s true, that’s one hell of a throw! Perhaps Ravens fans constructed ice ball canons from their seats in the 400 level?
I didn’t see Peterson get hit in the face with any ice balls, but I’m sure that snow was thrown from the stands. That often happens when it snows. Here in Baltimore, we play football outside among the conditions, not in a comfy climate controlled dome.
If I had to guess, I would assume that Peterson was far more frustrated with his team’s loss than anything Ravens fans did. His upcoming fine will surely teach everyone a valuable lesson in thinking before you whine on Twitter.
