Two days ago I reported that Peyton Manning would be having his third neck surgery and would be finished for the entire 2011 season. While that report has not yet been confirmed Jake Query, a radio host for WNDE in Indianapolis, is now reporting the same news.
According to TheBigLead.com, Query told listeners that Manning’s surgery is scheduled for Sunday or Monday and it will keep him out for the season.
Gregg Rosenthal of NBC Sports says that the Colts early release on Manning’s status for week one is a “bad sign.” I’ve been saying he’ll be out all year for the entire week. We’ll keep you posted on this developing story.
