Heading out to Las Vegas anytime soon? No some one who is? Or do you have some degenerate friends like Jabby Burns that could help you place a bet?

Our BSR pal, Josh Sroka of the Section 336 podcast, is out in Sin City and placed a $20 bet on the Baltimore Orioles to win the 2014 World Series. If for some reason the stars align and the Birds are crowned champions, Josh will take home 400 bucks.

Beers on him.

Of course, early FanGraphs Steamer data projects the O’s to win 78 games in 2014. Maybe Josh should have invested that $20 in a new hat.
