Down on the farm on Wednesday night, Orioles right handed pitcher Brad Bergesen threw a complete game, four hit shutout against the Pawtucket Red Sox. Bergesen threw 9 strong innings in the win giving up just a walk and fanning eight.
Bergesen retired the last nine batters he faced and completed the game on just 102 pitches. Since returning to Triple-A, Bergesen is 2-0 with a stingy 0.60 ERA. He went six innings surrendering an earned run in his previous start against Rochester on June 3.
