Whether he likes it or not, Ravens safety Bernard Pollard will always be known as the guy that tore Tom Brady’s ACL in 2008.
On Sunday, Pollard meets with Brady again and the media asked him about the hit the knocked the Patriots quarterback out for an entire season.
“It just so happened to be Tom Brady and everybody made a big deal about it,” Pollard said according to the Baltimore Sun. “That’s the pretty boy. That’s the man of the NFL. That’s Mr. Do-It-All,” Pollard said. “So everybody is going to hold that against me but I don’t care.”
Pollard added that in the NFL players can’t be told to “be careful” and hit at full speed.
