During the Ravens 31-13 preseason win over the Chiefs, former Baltimore head coach and current NFL analyst Brian Billick tweeted a few compliments about John Harbaugh’s squad. Billick liked the pocket awareness of Joe Flacco, the speed of Lee Evans and the beef on the Ravens defensive line.
“Flacco has been impressive early with his pocket presence and awareness of the defense downfield,” Billick tweeted. “Lee Evans speed is eye popping – DB’s have to respect him down the field which should open up quick out game for the #Ravens.”
He also wrote that he expects the Ravens defensive line to continue their tradition of being tough on the run.
If Billick was coaching this team it would have more rings,,,,,,,,,,Harbaugh looks confused and can’t coach’em up…………
Billick is old news. Leave the past behind because your comment was stupid. What was Billicks playoff record after 2000? He was 1-3 in 7 years of coaching. So to answer your question dumb@ss, the Ravens would have zero more rings if Billick was still coaching.
Harbaugh is 4-3 in the playoffs. AND if you take away his first year, he is 2-2 in the playoffs with NO RINGS.
I agree with Spy and take your garbage language with you.
Further, Billick had two Division Championships under his belt, an AFC Championship, and a Super Bowl. Harbaugh has ZERO division championships.
@ -Carl,,,,,,,thank you for your comments,,,,,,Billicks message got old on an olde team , it was time for him to go but he was and is a better coach than Harbaugh,,,,,,,,,,,
Billick was rarely out coached and you can see harbaugh out coached plenty of times already……….
Rarely outcoached you say. All he did was run up the middle, up the middle, up the middle, punt. Expect your defense to win the game. Great strategy!
Luckily he had great defensive coordinators who would win the games for him since the offesive guru from Minnesota couldn’t generate any points.
Ever hear of ‘playing to your strengths’ ?
The guy got lucky one year, it doesn’t make him a genius, it makes him blessed. If he’s such a hot commodity, why is he still out of the league four years later? I hope he gets a job soon so we can see if he’s as great as some people in this area think. I’ll bet you he doesn’t get another ring.
