Last night, Jason Berken struggled again in the Orioles 9th straight loss, but it was the bullpen that open things up for Cleveland to take game two.

Jim Johnson was charged with the loss when he gave up the walk off RBI single to Jhonny Peralta that gave the Indians a 9-8 win.

The pen allowed five runs on seven hits in 4.2 innings of work and has an ERA just under eight in their last seven games.

O’s pitching has allowed 61 runs over the nine game losing streak.

There were some bright spots to the game though. Luke Scott, Robert Andino, and Michael Aubrey all went yard. Aubrey went 2 for 3 and is hitting .391 during his six game hitting streak.

Luke Scott’s three run homer gave the O’s a 5-4 lead in the fifth inning. It was his 25th home run of the season and his fourth in his last ten games.

Matt Wieters went 2 for 4 with an RBI double. He has three homers and 12 RBI over his last 12 games. He’s hitting .467 since hitting in the three spot of the Oriole lineup.
